Project Controller/Cost Controller

Duration: Short Term

Start date: Urgent

Primary duties and responsibilities

1. Controlling and supporting the whole financial project lifecycle from estimation, to analyzing the cost and revenue streams incurred by the project.
2. Act as the focal point in regards to Project invoicing and liaise with relevant stakeholders across Finance/Accounting departments in the Baku, Bergen, and Singapore offices.
3. Compile all invoice data and process client invoices in an accurate and timely manner based on contractual agreements, job completion certificates, client purchase orders and job sheets in line with Swire’s Project Accounting practices.
4. Budget and forecast monthly revenue accruals and update “Value of Work Done” (VOWD).
5. Prepare monthly Account Receivable (AR) aging report.
6. Report to the Client, Project Manager, Bergen-, Singapore office on invoice status, VOWD, cost analysis, and project profitability.
7. Liaise closely with Project Manager and Project Engineer.
8. Compile and maintain comprehensive project invoicing documentation e.g. back-up /supporting documents.
9. Participation in project meetings, and deal with clients directly.
10. Support project team in various tasks to meet the project objectives and goals.
11. Collaborate with Finance departments on improvements.
12. Support Accounting teams in Swire.

Job Requirements

 Relevant education and minimum five years of relevant experience
 Strong oral and written communication skills in written and spoken English
 Structured with analytical skills and excellent numerical skills.
 Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
 Familiarise with Swire policies / procedures.
 Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Office)
 Knowledge of web-based applications like ERP systems.
