Offshore Construction Supervisor (OCS)
Primary responsibilities of the role are (but not limited to):
• To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Company Management System Procedures
• Show a clear leadership by demonstrating a high level of personal safety commitment
• Promote and encourage a culture to STOP the job if there are any safety concerns or doubts
• Hold pre-shift brief with all members of work parties including third party vendors
• Attend and conduct tool box talk on a daily basis
• Coordinate with client representative, any third parties and vendors
• Formulate Permit to Work
• Liaise with project team during project design/development to ensure that the installation aspects of the design are properly addressed
• Review the workscope and Job Cards to ensure all tasks are included and properly scheduled in the final overall plan
• Co-ordinate and supervise the offshore installation and workforce in accordance with Laser Gulf and Client requirements
• Control and report installation progress in accordance with the agreed project plan and schedule
• Effective management of offshore trade and vendor personnel, ensuring duties are executed to a high standard
• Provide Daily Progress Reports on behalf of the Laser Gulf or the Client
• Prepare all necessary installation and Close-out documentation in accordance with Company Quality Management and Client requirements
Essential qualifications and experience
• Minimum of 3 years offshore experience in similar role
• Competent in the use of MS Office applications
• Excellent written and spoken English
• BOSIET
• Offshore Medical
