Position Name: Procurement and Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up 1C accounting data base
• Develop and maintain reports and files on asset and liability account balances.
• Develop and maintain reports and files on the Accounts Payable processing.
• Accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial reports, bank reconciliation and annual budgets. Accountants employed by a bank might have additional responsibilities related to loan management, customer accounts and daily reconciliation of funds.
• Follow with procurement activities
• Take an active role in all sub-contracts and supply orders and responsible for the purchasing process of all materials, supplies, equipment and services.
• Market search for different suppliers.
• Review preferred suppliers ensuring that all suppliers and subcontractors have been prequalified in terms of the Company’s procedures and review their performance (price and quality).
• Build and develop relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers and customers.
• Secure minimum 3 manufacturers for each product at varying costs and qualities.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive price, determine availability, terms, and delivery schedule regarding specific requisitions; evaluate quotes and approves.
• Continuously analyze bids and purchase orders, identify items requisitioned, know products and needs of the organization’s users, match with vendors and be an active problem solver while monitoring the entire buying process.
• Negotiate purchase agreements, sale and lease agreements.
• Prepare tender documentation, perform tender administration process,
• Compile Tender specifications for suppliers and clients
• Review tender requirements with management
• Review all documentation based on Tender requirements and complete tender package

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Procurement and Accounting experience;
• Bachelor's Degree in Business (logistics, accounting, finance)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of computerized purchasing and inventory systems.
• Excellent command of, Azerbaijan, English, Turkish and Russian languages
• Excellent Knowledge in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Photoshop)
• Successful track record of delivering results in the areas of cost reduction, service levels, and quality and inventory levels.
• Excellent Knowledge in 1C accounting program.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
