Budgeting, Reporting and Controlling Specialist (Finance)

Role synopsis

Azerinteltek CJSC is now looking for an experienced Finance professional for the role of Budgeting, Reporting and Controlling Specialist to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Key accountabilities

• Leading and preparation of Company's Annual Operating Plan and budgeted financial statements on yearly and monthly basis in accordance with IFRS
• Prepare board presentations, financial and operational analysis related activities
• Leading in preparation of monthly/quarterly stand alone and consolidated financial reports and notes in IFRS
• Leading and executing of control on Company's budgeting processes and compare with actuals
• Leading and participating month-end control process
• Perform analytical review of financial statements
• Managing the relations with external auditors
• Leading and participating in the implementation of improvements to financial reporting processes and systems
• Follow up developments on IFRS and Group Accounting Policies

Essential criteria

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field of study (Business Administration, Economics or Finance)
• Minimum of 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Working knowledge of IFRS reporting and consolidation
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Working knowledge of SAP® FI & CO modules
• Proficiency in English language: both verbal and written

Desirable criteria

• Financial audit experience in one of “Big Four” companies (PWC, E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte)
• ACCA qualification exams (at least F3 Financial Accounting)
• Working knowledge of Hyperion
• Technical knowledge of accounting practices
• Advanced user in MS Office suite
• Excellent communications and relationship building skills
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills
