Position: Trainee Cost Engineer

The key focus for Laser Gulf business is to supply Engineering, Dimensional Control, 3D Point Cloud Laser Scanning, 3D Design and Modification Modeling, 2D Automatic Isometric and Structural Generation from a 3D model, Piping and Structural Design, Piping and Structural Engineering, Fabrication and Construction services thus offering a unique combination of skills and resources.

In order to support ongoing work in the region, Laser Gulf is looking for an Trainee Cost Engineer to join the team based in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Key Responsibilities:

The Trainee Cost Engineer, reporting to the Senior Cost Engineer, is responsible for the provision of a proactive cost management service for specific projects within Engineering and Projects

• Ensure monthly cost reports are maintained and issued to clients.
• Controlling and proceeding with employees timesheets
• Ensure smooth running of project cost functions.
• Check project cost estimates from a cost perspective to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in project specific cost control audits as required by clients or management

Essential qualifications and experience

• Fluency in English, Azerbaijani, Russian both written and oral.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative.
• Educational Background in finance is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
