Position:  Senior Financial Analyst

Location:  Marine Plaza Business Centre (Baku, Azerbaijan)

Salary:   Subject to successful candidate’s experience and academic background

Job Description / Key Deliverables:

The successful candidate will work within the Project Origination & Business Development team mainly on local and international projects in the area of transportation & logistics. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to assist with financing and development stages of several potential projects in agriculture, construction & other industries upon request. Person at this position will have opportunities to work with globally famous brands and well-established international companies. Additionally, the candidate will deal with company’s management, project financing banks and related third parties.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carrying out financial analysis of company's historic results and establishing projections;
• Preparation of financial models and feasibility studies for existing and potential future projects;
• Preparing and delivering financial reports for company’s management and affiliated third parties (mainly debt financing banks);
• Leading respective business advisory and corporate valuation projects;
• Participating in the corporate valuation and acquisition projects;
• Dealing with large commercial and investment banks within CIS region and outside of it;
• Preparing and delivering project-based presentations for internal & external clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration (degree from a leading foreign university is a big plus)
• Minimum 2 (two) years of relevant experience in a BIG4, Bank or Financial department of a large company is highly desirable
• Good understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques and financial analysis
• Knowledge of financial reporting, planning and budgeting
• Advanced MS Excel, Word and Power Point
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, attentiveness to detail
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken Azerbaijani, Russian & English is a must
