Position:  Oracle Database Administrator

Salary:  Depend on successful candidate’s experience and academic background

Working hours:  09:00-18:00 (Monday to Friday)

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of daily system activities;
• Monitoring of system and database performance;
• Database replication;
• Backing up of databases and verification of back up set;
• Review of software logs and monitoring of events;
• Monitoring of security events and possible authorization leakages

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Information Technologies, Cybernetics, Applied Mathematics field;
• Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience in DBA Oracle;
• Experience of MS SQL Server and My SQL;
• A good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools; 
• A good understanding of the Linux operating system;
• A good knowledge of the physical database design;
• Ability to perform both Oracle database performance tuning and monitoring;
• A good knowledge of ALL Oracle Database backup and recovery scenarios;
• A good knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard technology;
• A good knowledge of Oracle security management;
• A good knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources;
• A good knowledge Oracle data integrity;
• Sound knowledge of the implemented application systems;
• Certified candidates in this area are preferable;
• Experience in Oracle E-business Suite;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian,  English - upper-intermediate
