Title: Lab Analyst

Position Type: 12 hours Shift Schedule

Location: Sumgayit

JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for all type of required analysis of plant process needs
• Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases
• Prepare samples/specimens
• Produce quality, accurate and reliable data and interpret results
• Follow methodologies in carrying routine tasks
• Research relevant topics and gather information/data
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
• Keep abreast of all industry developments and best practices
• Document all activities, record results and insert/retrieve data
• Maintain work area and equipment
• Provide administrative assistance as needed
• Basic maintenance of equipment including calibration and standardization.
• Handle used oils, diesel fuels solvents and acids.
• Follow SOP’s and exercise laboratory safety practices.
• Strong commitment to quality and integrity.

Education and experience
• University degree in Chemical Engeneering
• 2 years in working with industrial process analyzers in the petrochemical or refining industry
• Advance experience on test equipment use
• Languages: Azerbaijani and Intermediate level of English is must
