1. PRINCIPAL FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)
 
Area IT Officer is responsible for operation of IT system for AGT region, ensuring that facility is operated and maintained according to Company IT standards and complies with Company’s IT/ Compliance/ QA/ HSE policies. 
 
2. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Responsible for:

His / her responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assess IT needs of various divisions for AGT region.
• Plan and recommend for IT purchases.
• Plan for software development wherever required
• Evaluate software packages when required.
• Ensure IT systems are functioning as planned and required by the company
• Carry out appraisal of reporting personnel
• Monitoring the Server / Network / Firewall
• Monitoring Backup Jobs
• Troubleshooting the Hardware (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, etc.)
• Local support to the users
• Email administration
• Picking up IT queries raised on Intranet. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
Minimum of three year’s work experience in a similar role
Industry certifications and memberships a plus
Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills
Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
