RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a manager of the department, Food and Beverage Manager must ensure that all the outlets and banquets operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable and must participate in developing and implementing Company policies, practices and procedures.  Key responsibilities are:
- To direct and manage all activity related to the Food and Beverage department, ensuring all service standards are followed
- To ensure the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage Department in the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage
- To ensure that all associates provide exceptional guest service at all times
- To proactively manage costs based on key performance indicators, working through the respective Heads of Department as appropriate
- To ensure that all company minimum standards are implemented
- To monitor all operations, especially during peak business periods, working through the respective Head of Department to make adjustments where necessary.
- To taste and monitor the food and beverage products served throughout the operation, providing feedback where appropriate
- To be responsible for all F&B colleagues’ achievement of individual goals
- To ensure that the use new technology and equipment is explored and implemented wherever appropriate
- To ensure that all F&B associates deliver the 5 star hotel promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
- To manage all purchase requests and invoices for F&B related expenses
- To be able to prepare of the Annual Business Plan for department
- To be able to manage inventory-taking of supplies and operating equipment
- To follow departmental policies and procedures
- To follow all safety  policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous hotel experience at applied position (minimum 3 year experience) within 5 star hotels
- Fluency in English (verbal & written), Azerbaijani is mandatory, Russian an asset
- Computer literate in Microsoft, Micros and Iscala 
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
