Scope and General Purpose of Job:

 Development of standard operating procedures for each department.
 Development of departmental and facility personal policies.
 Establishment of on-going provision of administrative controls.
 Oversee Effective scheduling of all services and special programming.
 To ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness).
 To ensure guest/member satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the Spa's first priority.
 Ensure that all associates establish a rapport with guests.  Handle all guest requests and inquiries of hotel service.
 To be demanding and critical when it comes to service standards.
 To conduct monthly evaluations internal and external based on Mystery call audits standards as provided on Hyatt Connect operational documents to maintain consistency in Brand standard delivery to assure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
 Operations and capital improvement budget preparation.
 To ensure that the department's operational budget is in line and all cost are strictly controlled.
 To ensure that the monthly forecasted spa revenue figures are achieved.
 To handle voiding, rebates, adjustment, correcting, checks in accordance with the prescribed procedures and account for all checks during each shift.
 To ensure that the work place is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Armaiti Spa Hyatt Hotels Baku Standards of Performance.
 Direct operations of facility including short and long range strategic planning so that the facility operates cost effectively and efficiently.
 To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship.
 Administration and implementation of associates training in all aspects of the Spa operations i.e.  business, Guest relations, Spa services (body massages, body treatments and aesthetic services etc.) and Retail sales.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate degree  – preference given to Physical therapist, Spa, Hospitality Area
• Sound knowledge in Spa treatments & Procedures
• Should be able to provide training to the Spa staff in various spa treatments as per standards
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and First Aid practices
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in 5 star luxury properties (desirable)
• Extensive Knowledge of MS Office (essential)
• Developing managerial skills with a record of positive people skills, team managing abilities and proven guest service record.
• Demonstrates  multi-tasking and manages his/her time successfully
• Liaising well with other departments
• Up to date with all standards and procedures; interested in latest trends in spa
• Preferably with therapy & treatment background, would be required to conduct treatments when needed.
