Position title:  Field Service Technician

Location: Garadagh district, Salyan highway 17

Field Service Technician ensures all pre-job checks are done in accordance with internal procedures and QAQC requirements, as well as gets full equipment package ready for the job. Travel to offshore is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures that all pre-job checks are conducted and that the full equipment package is ready for the job. Attend and participate in a pre-job briefing with field crew prior to traveling to the rig site
• Interface, as required, with Company representative, crew pusher, tool pusher, drill crew, drilling engineer, and third parties to ensure that all well acceptance criteria for the installation have been met
• Works as crew member during the actual installation/work
• Ensure and assist with the safe rig up and operation of equipment in accordance with Frank’s procedures and Customer instructions
• Serves as onsite safety representative who will follow and ensure that all other personnel onsite will conduct operations in accordance with Frank’s and customer HSE procedures and policies
• Respect and follow all Frank’s internal policies and procedures
• Other duties as directed
• This work can be physically demanding. These demands may be defined as exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to climb stairs, perform lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, standing/bending tasks, and endure long hours in possible adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• Bachelor Degree (Technical)
• Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience (oil and gas field)
• Strong communication skills
• Available to work to tight deadlines and twenty four hour call
• Pro-active, “can do” attitude and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to seek continuous improvement in all aspects of the role and responsibilities
• Medically fit to perform the role 
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani Language
