Position title:  Site Lifting Coordinator

Location: Garadagh r., Salyan highway 83,

“BOS Shelf” LLC mainly specialized on piles & jackets fabrication, piping works. BOS Shelf has the reputation as the best performing contractor in the Caspian region. Our company is also involved to “Shah Daniz 2” Project and considered one of the main subcontractors of the project. We prioritized improvements in working conditions for its employees. We have built two brand new amenity blocks, which have training facilities and modern office facilities fully conforming to the international standards. While achieving a very demanding schedule, we remained focused on our priority to ensure that all worked safely and remained healthy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will be required to authorize all lifting plans & risk assessments for all categories of lifts.
• Ensure all personnel involved in lifting operations on site have formal recordable training and are assessed as competent.
• Ensure a register of competent personnel authorized to undertake lifting operations is maintained
• Ensure thorough inspection and color coding of all portable lifting equipment is carried out by an authorized 3rd party contractor every 6 months
• Manage & control the rigging & lifting loft inventory.
• Responsible for all site lifting activities.
• Maintain register of generic & specific site lifting plans & risk assessments.
• Maintain register of all site lifting equipment.
• Manage the control and recertification of unused transit slings.
• Verify that any 3rd party lifting equipment complies with BP SSOW.
• Provide a continuous review of lifting practices to ensure compliance with BP SSOW & BOS Shelf procedures.
• Monitoring and prevention of unsafe situations.
• Ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are followed and conform to the professional standards prescribed by the company.
• Ensure work is conducted within all applicable legislative, Bos Shelf Safety Management System and Client safe system of work.
• Maintain awareness of the potential significant environmental and social aspects and impacts of the operation.
• Constantly look for and act in the ways that reduce the health and safety risks, and the environmental, social, and security impact of the job and initiate improvements.

Key Job Requirements:

Work experience:

• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in lifting operations

Education:

• Higher technical

Skills and Competencies:

• OPITO Stage 3 Rigging and Lifting Assessment, plus Appointed Person or Accredited Rigging and Lifting NSL / Rigmarine Level 2 EAL A+B, Plus Appointed Person or Accredited S/NVQ Level 3, plus Appointed Person or ECITB Level 3 Moving Loads – Rigging and Lifting, plus Appointed Person
• Be multilingual (Azerbaijani, English)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Managerial skills
• Analytical skills
• Working under pressure
• Ability to work in a multinational environment
