Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and refinement of Synergy Group OJSC’s vision and strategy; 
• Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the Synergy Group OJSC maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns;
• Impact the profitability of the Synergy Group OJSC through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results;
• Responsible for all planning activities including; business plans,  forecasts, strategic and tactical plans;
• Develop new lines of business to achieve the company's strategic and business plans
• Identify potential organizations for merger or acquisition to expand existing product lines or bring new product lines to the organization;
• Participate in due diligence audits, site visits, etc. of enterprises the company seeks to purchase or merge with;
• Conduct non financial analysis of the information provided by the subsidiaries with respect to new business proposal. Work closely with respective teams within subsidiaries and if necessary with Finance department;
• Direct and coordinate marketing and sales activities of Synergy Group OJSC and all subsidiary companies within the Group;
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results;
• Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities: IT, Agriculture, Hospitality, Printing, Winery, production and etc;
• Monitor revenue and marketing/sales performance of all subsidiary companies within the group through the use of daily, weekly, monthly  report;
• Review and promote initiatives on new product development and market penetration;
• Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning through the Marketing Unit;
• Supervise the planning and development of company marketing communications materials;
• Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education in business management, economics or related fields;
• Work Experience: at least 3 years in managerial position in Marketing and Business Development
• Proven leadership skills as a senior executive leading a major division of an organization;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to lead and inspire employees, prioritize responsibilities;
• Understanding of strategic and financial processes, including budgeting and project planning.
• Ability to work in a team;
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible working hours;
• Adaptation to change;
• Fluent in spoken and written English with an excellent command of written and spoken Azerbaijani and Russian;
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
