Position title:  HSE Trainer

Location: Garadagh r., Salyan highway 83,

“BOS Shelf” LLC mainly specialized on piles & jackets fabrication, piping works. BOS Shelf has the reputation as the best performing contractor in the Caspian region. Our company is also involved to “Shah Daniz 2” Project and considered one of the main subcontractors of the project. We prioritized improvements in working conditions for its employees. We have built two brand new amenity blocks, which have training facilities and modern office facilities fully conforming to the international standards. While achieving a very demanding schedule, we remained focused on our priority to ensure that all worked safely and remained healthy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, deliver, and administer all internal HSE training courses in consistency with training matrix and employee’s individual development plan for all operations;
• Ensure the training content meets company and client requirements, legislation, and industry best practice;
• Ensure that training material is readily available for all training events;
• Continuously evaluate and update training materials for existing internal courses and manage the development of new material when necessary, including cooperation with QHSSE department & Construction dpt. and other Subject Matter Experts;
• Develop & communicate HSE related learning campaigns to all staff through presentations to ensure HSE culture is disseminated to all employees of the company;
• Develop various presentations on HSE subjects and prepare HSE Newsletter / HSE Site News to continuously foster a safe working culture in the company;
• Attend internal HSE meetings if required;
• Apply best practices related to HSE learning for implementation and ongoing improvement;
• Submit regular feedback / reports to Training Officer on the status of the HSE training program
• Actively participate in any annual technical appraisal, attestation or assessment activities for workforce. Check the necessary level of competence has been reached;
• Liaise with training staff to ensure full compatibility of on-job & off-job training is performed as per requirements;
• Promote safety culture through constant safety talks;
• Any other related activities as advised by the Line Manager.

Key Job Requirements:
   
Work experience:
• 3-5 year experience in HSE related activities and training within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry, including experience as an HSE instructor, in developing training materials.

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Recognized Occupation Health and Safety training;
• Train-the-trainer certificates in occupational training (optional);
• NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent is preferable.
