As an established foreign company with many years experience servicing the global market within Oil and Gas industry, we are currently recruiting in Baku for the following position:

NDT Inspector

Responsibilities:

• To be a competent inspector to carry out the inspection and default prove up of all oilfield tubular goods, and, but not limited to, subs, drilling tools, and down hole equipment to all the relevant standards.
• To be fully conversant with types of inspection equipment, including but not limited to, UV light, A/C yoke, permanent magnet, EMI UNIT, 4 function logging, dye penetrate, U/T equipment, both shear wave and wall U/T gauge.
• Be able to communicate with drill site personnel, third party inspectors and company managers.
• To provide guidance, and training to trainee inspectors and helpers, with respect, understanding, and patience.
• To ensure that all communication is carried out with the customers representative, and or manager in a clear correct and respective manner.
• To ensure that all reporting and certification is delivered in an on-time, correct, clear and concise presentation.
• To be able to carry out all work and to ensure that all inspection crews work in a safe and correct manner.
• To ensure that all tools inspected are clearly marked and identified as per procedures and above specs.
• All defects are clearly identified, marked and recorded.
• To perform all inspection duties as instructed by the supervisors, and other duties as required.
• To ensure that all equipment is treated correctly, kept clean, and any faults are reported immediately to the supervisors.
• To ensure that the integrity of the company is maintained at all times.
• To be able to work in both yard and field as instructed by the supervisor.

Competency Requirements:

• A minimum of ASNT Level 2 in MPI, DPI, EMI, UT, full understanding of DS-1, NS-2, API SPEC 7-1, 7-2, RP7G-2, 5A5, 5B, 5B1, 6A & 16A.

A minimum of 2 years as a Level 2 inspector in all disciplines, of NDT inspection services.
