Project Description:
SAIPEM-AZFEN JV is construction, engineering and procurement Company engaged in construction of major gas pipeline in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
SAIPEM-AZFEN JV is looking for the candidates who have skills and experience to deliver the following responsibilities during the pipeline construction for the following positions:
Required experience and qualification:
• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Safety Sciences
• Excellent spoken & written in English mandatory
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is preferably
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the oil and gas industry
• Good working knowledge of fabrication and construction related activities
• Computer skills that includes MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Strong communication and team work skills
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage HSS Advisors and HSS Officers daily activities.
• Review and follow up the Daily Inspections reports received from HSS Advisors and HSS Officers.
• Be good example in implementation on Behavioral Based Safety program. Make sure the program implemented.
• Ensure that Five star program and principles are implemented
• Inspect & make sure Emergency Response Plan requirements are in place
• Ensure Safety Arrangement Plan requirements in place
• Review and Audit the Method Statement and Task Risk Assessment and check the compliance
• Lead Incident Investigation process, make sure reports submitted in timely manner and follow the actions to be closed and keep the evidences
• Support & Coach workforce in RTC program implementation
• Ensure all vehicles, plant and equipment are inspected and records available
• Ensure that all workforce have proper PPE and H&S Trainings
• Audit the Permit to Work, Confined Space, working at height processes implementation.
• Lead by example to project personnel in H&S issues.
• Make sure that Action Tracking system implemented and report submitted on a monthly basis
• Make sure lessons learned and HSS knowledge management process in place
• Make sure HSS weekly, Monthly reports are submitted in a timely manner
• Make sure Project HSS Management Plan and Safety procedures are reviewed and understood by HSS Advisors and HSS Officers
• Take leadership and attend on the weekly site HSS Meeting
• Make sure that Subcontractor are in compliance with approved standards and procedures
• Plan and conduct the Focused Site based-Safety Critical Oversight Activities based on work scope
