Position: Customer Account Manager
Location: Baku
Minimum Salary: 1,500.00 AZN
Maximum Salary: Subject to successful candidate abilities, experince, and portfolio.
Job brief:
International Logistics Company is looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.
You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers, ensure all their logistics and transport needs are catered for in timely fashion
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives, update client on daily basis on the progress of shipments
Ensure client get timely responses for rate and other enquiries.
Ensure job files related to the assigned customers are invoiced in a timely manner
Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare KPI reports on specific accounts
Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements:
Proven account management or other relevant experience. Minimum 5-year experience in international freight forwarding involving multimodal shipments by rail
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization,
Knowledge of transportation of cargo by rail will be an asset.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficient in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian
Computer literate in MS Office, and especially MS Excel
Ability to work under time pressure in the team environment
