Position:  Customer Account Manager

Location:  Baku

Minimum Salary: 1,500.00 AZN

Maximum Salary: Subject to successful candidate abilities, experince, and portfolio.

Job brief:

International Logistics Company is looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

Responsibilities:

 Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers, ensure all their logistics and transport needs are catered for in timely fashion
 Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
 Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
 Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
 Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives, update client on daily basis on the progress of shipments
 Ensure client get timely responses for rate and other enquiries.
 Ensure job files related to the assigned customers are invoiced in a timely manner
 Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare KPI reports on specific accounts
 Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
 Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements:

 Proven account management or other relevant experience. Minimum 5-year experience in international freight forwarding involving multimodal shipments by rail
 Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization,
 Knowledge of transportation of cargo by rail will be an asset.
 Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
 Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
 Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficient in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian
 Computer literate in MS Office, and especially MS Excel
 Ability to work under time pressure in the team environment
