Tax & Statutory Reporting Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review financial statements & prepare tax basis work-papers, accounting & adjusting entries;
• Coordinate tax matters with management, the government & external auditors & consultants;
• Manage tax, social, statistical & other compulsory reporting & compliance for the company;
• Ensure tax returns are completed & accurate to minimize tax obligations;
• Responsible for tax planning in preparation for future filings;
• Reconcile tax data on financial statements;
• Research & develop tax-saving strategies;
• Special projects as assigned;
• Supervises AP’s state & local tax activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ of experience as a tax and/or statutory reporting specialist;
• Bachelor’s degree or masters in accounting, finance, business administration or other major with tax & accounting coursework completed;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills;
• Minimum of three years of experience preparing corporate tax reports & returns;
• Working knowledge & local statutory (tax) accounting rules and IFRS;
• Strong accounting, analytical, time-management & organizational skills;
• Fluent Azeri, Russian & English.
• Ability to frequently travel to regions of Azerbaijan.

Salary: 1500 AZN
