Financial Compliance/Due Diligence Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop finance function related procedures & policies, analyze & monitors activities to ensure compliance at every level;
• Ensure relevant documents are in compliance with established guidelines & standards;
• Create & implement staff training programs on finance function related standards / Operation manual sections;
• Oversee the operations of a business or organization as they relate to relevant sections Operation Manual compliance;
• Help in organization of risk minimization by reviewing finance function related procedures and policies, notices & disclosures for compliance;
• Research, develops & recommends strategic advice to ensure companies align with all finance function related applicable guides & regulations;
• Advise management on any changes that may be necessary to comply with new requirements;
• Maintain detailed records of compliance activities;
• Keep electronic databases & hard-copy documentation updated to reflect current processes & new changes;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior work experience in Finance or relevant field;
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, business accounting or other related field;
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English, Azeri & Russian;
• Strong Microsoft Office skills & ERP literacy;
• Deep understanding of legal issues, ethics, state & internal regulatory activities;
• Knowledge of finance, accounting & legal processes;
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication skills;
• Ability to frequently travel to regions of Azerbaijan and train local staff.

Salary: 1500 AZN
