GROUPE DANONE is the one of the leading companies in the FMCG industry, holding No.1 position globally in Fresh Dairy, No.2 position globally in both Waters and Baby Nutrition and No.1 position in Europe in Medical Nutrition. Through sustainable development strategy Danone has been expanding its operations worldwide being present in more than 150 countries. Danone is operating in Azerbaijan since xxxx, holds market leader position in fresh dairy products, is one of the biggest media investors of the country and shows ongoing strong business growth.
To support further business development Danone Azerbaijan is now looking for a Junior Brand Manager,   based in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years marketing management experience, ideally in a multinational FMCG company as JBM or BM
• Ability to take responsibility for important brands
• Business acumen (finance, sales etc.)
• Marketing concepts & practices in brand management
• An open-minded, highly-organized, flexible,  creative, confident team player  with effective time-management, analytical & strategic-thinking skills
• Self-driven, able to operate effectively in the context of a high pace working environment, with significant autonomy
• Business oriented, yet able to follow the discipline of correct process and methods in the face of day-to-day urgencies
• Highly effective in working with others, both inside and outside the organization
• Activity launch planning skills
• Able to manage effectively marketing budget
• University Degree, preferably in economics or business administration,
• Strong PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Fluency in English and Russian, both written and spoken.

The Role:

Junior Brand Manager (JBM) will be responsible for transforming country business strategies into brand strategies, which he/she will be responsible for,  and manage the brand in the most effective way. Brand management includes local brand positioning (via qualitative and quantitative researches), implementation of key “consumer touch points” derived from consumer studies via the most effective mix of Advertising Tools, conducting their post evaluation on effectiveness, determining key learnings and ensuring their further implementation. Besides, JBM will be planning and executing all BTL activities of his/her brand, which will be one of the vital part of his/her responsibilities.

Moreover, strategic thinking has to be one of the key competencies of Brand Manager.

The following are the spheres of activity assigned to appropriate brand that JBM will be responsible for:

• Strategic Management of Brand including local brand positioning via consumer studies
• Determination and implementation of according Advertising Mix (Media, Promotion, PR, Event Marketing) for the brand
• Leading accuracy of Marketing Reporting
• Budgeting
• Financial Follow Up of the Brand Advertising (Media & Promotion)
