Position: Environmental Engineer
Responsibilities:
Regarding design and engineering of Desalination Facilities and Produced Water Treatment Plants, Candidate shall be responsible for;
- Review and development of the process design prepared Engineering Contractor (EC)
- Assuring compliance of the design with relevant Local Environmental Laws and Regulations,
- Teaming Up with the Engineering Contractor for providing guidance on preparation of Permit Registers and Environmental Risk Registers in line with Local Requirements
- Taking lead of any Pilot Tests to be performed in Azerbaijan for providing data for design studies
- Leading, managing and supervising any analysis to be performed by local laboratories.
- Preparation of Reports of the studies performed
Qualifications
- Minimum BSc degree in Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design and/or operation on Oily Water or Produced Water Treatment Systems and technologies such as reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, microfiltration and electro chlorination
- Experienced in design and/or operation of Desalination Plants
- Fully aware of and have extensive knowledge in Azerbaijan Environmental Laws and Regulations
- Ability to evaluate laboratory analysis reports
- Excellent command of the English language, especially in formal writing such as Reports
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Willingness to travel (Partially work in Istanbul)
