Electric & Instrument Engineer

Job Description

- To review the relevant engineering documents according to contract requirements and,  relevant International, EN and Turkish Standards/Regulations/ Procedures,
- To review, register, trace the  comments from the Owner and/or Engineering Consultant and take appropriate actions,
- To implement Management of Change Procedure in relevant activities,
- To supervise construction activities at site by ensuring full compliance with Engineering requirements and Quality & Safety Standards,
- To provide full support to Q-HSE Department in implementation of the Quality Plan and HSE Plan at site,
- To provide full support to Project Controls Department in implementation of Project Planning and Cost in line with Project  strategies and targets,
- To provide full support to the Procurement Department for the procurement of equipment and material, especially in issue of Bill of Quantities and preparation of Technical Specifications

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in the oil & gas, refinery or petrochemical industries.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards including NFPA 30, 72, 497, API 500, 540, ISA 5.1, 5.4 Design of additive storage, supply and blending systems
• Familiarity with development of single-line diagrams, hazardous area classification, cable and raceway layouts, grounding requirements, and equipment specification sheets pipeline booster pumping stations
• Familiarity with development of instrument data sheets, cause and effect matrices, P&IDs, PLC functional specifications, instrument schematics and loop diagrams
• Having fluent in both spoken and   written English
• Computer literate, use of MS office programs
