JOB TITLE:   Deck Foreman for the New Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig

EMPLOYER:  Caspian Drilling Company Ltd.

DUTY STATION:  Azerbaijan

DEADLINE:  26.06.2015

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Follows and implements all CDC Procedures and Standards as stipulated in CDC Quality Management System (Q.M.S.) without deviations.
• Carrying out the work activity and objectives established by the (OIM).
• Deck maintenance equipment inspection and repair.
• crane operations, emergency preparedness,
• Conduct emergency drills as required, on scene commander during emergency events.
• Maintain documented compliance with applicable regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate communications with workboat and helicopter operations.
• Day-to-day operations.
• Completing work resulting from audits, investigations, and/or inspections.
• Supervise the deck department.
• Supervise operation and maintenance of all equipment in areas of responsibility so as to minimize downtime and equipment breakdown
• Conduct all required inspections and drills directly related to the "marine deck" function.
• Complete, submit, and maintain company required paperwork (Deck Logs, competency Reporting, Crane Record Book
• Coordinate Company Preventive Maintenance Programs in areas of responsibility.
• Maintain housekeeping in area of responsibility
• Crane Equipment & Rigging / Slinging Equipment inspected and well maintained.
• Organize, pre-plan, and supervise rig’s crane operations with Crane Operator and Deck Crew.
• Knows location and use of alarm systems in case of fire and coordinates emergency squad deployment immediately.
• Ensures fire team is properly trained in accordance with Company policy.
• In case of equipment damage, reports it to person in charge immediately
• Supervises deck crew during heavy weather procedures as outlined in the rig's operating manual under the direction of the O.I.M.
• Assist other departments as needed
• Attend scheduled crew safety, operational meetings and drills.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIECE:

• 2-3 years experience as Crane Operators
• Passes Company approved Competency program in the previous position or complete the competency assessment within the probation period (newly hired)

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

LANGUAGES:

English, Azerbaijani, Russian
