QA & QC Engineer (Construction)
Main duties:
1.1 Participate in development of written procedures for quality quality/control assurance;
1.2 Perform needed inspections and tests on site (laboratory) to ensure conformity of material and works according to the contract specifications;
1.3 Supervise quantity measurement, quality, and variation;
1.4 Ensure that contractors comply with works’ specifications;
1.5 Develop standard documentation for construction works and quality control and assurance for the projects;
1.6 Review the existing standard documentation for the Quality Department and propose any improvements considered necessary;
1.7 Develop standard quality control procedures to be performed by the contractors;
1.8 Develop a procedure to establish norms to define the project-alternatives that will be evaluated for each construction task;
1.9 Develop and conduct robust procedures for quality assurance;
1.10 Assess work activities for which labor based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections where heavy machinery is appropriate;
1.11 Review of the contract documents for each section of the construction task;
1.12 Supervision of the contractors in the implementation of the work;
1.13 Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Project Manager;
1.14 Other relevant duties assigned by line manager or project manager.
Requirements for position:
2.1 Education : Higher education in related field
2.2 Job Experience : No less than 3 years of experience in construction field
2.3 Foreign languages : Advanced level – Azeri and English
2.4 Computer knowledge : Ms Office, Outlook and other tech. Pro.
