Job Title: Assistant Accommodation Manager - Summer vacancy
Main Duties:
• Develop and maintain a computerized room allocation system;
• Ensuring ‘Welcome Packs’ are placed in rooms for all new colleagues;
• Inspecting rooms upon departure, and reporting any damage of defects promptly;
• Arranging repairs and maintenance of rooms, reception areas and all common areas;
• Eensuring that accommodation is clean, well maintained and attractively presented;
• Managing stock levels and ordering supplies;
• Periodic Inspection of the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met;
• Arranging laundry and linen supplies and any other supplies needed in colleague rooms;
• Supervising the work of cleaning staff and ensuring standards are maintained;
• To Control cleaning of staff cafeteria, to check quality and daily menu of meals;
• Holding regular meetings with colleagues to seek improvements and suggestions, and then developing an action plan to carry out the same;
• Any other duties requested by management that are reasonable commensurate with the role.
Experience
• 2 years’ service experience in a Hotel
Skills
• Good English knowledge and understanding verbally
