Senior Technical Lead/ Solutions Architect
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Technical Lead/Solution Architect will partner with the the team to gather requirements, design solutions, implement and provide service delivery to the customer’s enterprise solutions/services within a highly dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing geographically located systems within a dynamic and fast paced environment. The ideal candidate must also be flexible, have a great attitude, and be willing to work outside of the normal business day to accomplish the mission as needed.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Serves as the primary technical interface to the customer for all IT services.
• Consults and advises the CCO and PM to interpret business requirements into technology solutions.
• Builds the long-term strategic architecture roadmap for all systems and related services, aligned to the organization's enterprise and security architectures framework.
• Communicates the design, capabilities, alternative approaches, risk, schedule, and options of the team's IT services with expertise.
• Coordinates the activities of others (customer, team members, and external stakeholders) and manages customer expectations and requirements.
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and maintenance of assigned enterprise projects and takes project from planning through final delivery.
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
• Assists customer in defining project scope and objectives and develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Responsible for project tracking and analysis on technical side.
• Leads a engineers and systems administrator to ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews architecture deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to enterprise services team.
• Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
• Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions.
• Must have previously supported all phases of the IT life cycle: requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
Design
• Analyzes technical options available within the existing technology environment and recommends appropriate solutions to meet business requirements.
• Provides technical leadership around best practices and new/emerging concepts.
• Performs resource, technical and risk assessments.
• Leads and/or oversees the design, implementation and daily operations of the IT services.
• Accountable for the technical integrity of the solutions, cost effectiveness and supportability that meets company requirements and industry best practices.
• Communicates critical technical choices, specify requirements and constraints for design and implementation, scope the projects and communicate solutions to management and the customer.
Reporting
• Provides operational review and feedback on detail designs and implementation issues as they relate to a project's expectations.
• Provides updates on the technical assignments of the team.
• Partners with the Project Manager to status the customer on the team's assignments.
• Partners with the customer to ensure project success.
Position Qualification Degree/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
• ITIL v3 or later Foundations Certification.
POSITION EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 10 years experience in enterprise architecture, designing and implementing solutions.
• Minimum 5 years as a Technical Lead experience supporting a company environment with a customer focused, fast paced, and dynamic working environment.
