Human Resources Director

Summary:

Responsible for the strategic management of the Human Resources Department in regards to people development and administration of personnel policies, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the whole organization.
- Monitor the Human Resources Department compliance with Azerbaijani State Employment Legislation as well as company Rules and Procedures.
- Responsible for the recruitment systems within the organization.
- Responsible for the effective administration of personnel records and files.
- Administer employee recognition and incentive programs.
- Development of strategic recruitment plan for identifying both management level positions and all line employees.
- Ensure development and performance reviews are conducted regularly.
- Identify key personnel for further development and structured career path.
- Pay particular attention to advertising, screening, work permits, reference checks and administration of all new hires.
- Maintain and implement training programs to ensure that staff has the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
- Other related duties.

Requirements:

- University Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration or any other relevant field.
- 5 to 10 years senior management experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage and resolve conflict.
- Successful work experience in a corporate and project work environment.
- Must have extensive computer skills and MS Office proficiency and HRIS experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work tasks in accordance with goals and to make effective use of time in an environment with multiple deadlines and goals.
- Strong proficiency in English, Azeri &Russian languages.
- HR Certification is an asset (CIPD, SHRM, etc.)
