Job Title:  Shutdown Planner

Location: Azerbaijan

A vacancy has arisen for a Rotational Shutdown Planner position as part of the Onshore Business Unit.
The Shutdown Planner is responsible to report to the Maintenance Team Leader for the forward planning and execution of all planned drilling shutdowns in the AzSPU within KCA DEUTAG scope / area of responsibility and for the health and safety of all persons under their authority. Also responsible for ensuring that the shutdown is delivered in a timely manner on behalf of KCA DEUTAG and BP/AIOC.
This role will be inter-departmental, supervising the Drilling Shutdowns in an onshore role..

Skills and Experience:

• Experience Lead the planning and implementation of the Drilling Shutdowns.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
•     Define project tasks and resource requirements
•     Develop full scale project plans
•     Plan and schedule project timelines
•     Manage project material and resource allocation
•     Identify, log, analyse and manage potential and actual issues and risks and recognise when corrective requirements will involve extra time or extra resources and where efficiencies can be made
•     Generate requirement, contracts, schedules, project reports, communication records, design specifications, meeting agendas, minutes, status reports, etc.
•     Define and manage day-to-day operational aspects of the Drilling Shutdown and scope including deliverables, schedule, resources, etc.
•     Creates and executes Drilling Shutdown work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
•     Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
•     Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards
•     Implement quality assurance procedures
•     Minimizes exposure and risk on the Drilling Shutdown
•     Present reports defining Drilling Shutdown progress, problems and solutions
•     Project evaluations and assessment of results
•     Track lessons learned and ensure learning's are communicated across departments, projects and offices
•     Supports colleagues from other departments / rigs (tasks to be discussed and agreed on separately with Manager)
•     Participates in projects (tasks to be discussed and agreed on separately with Manager)
•     Provides support for special duties within the department and organisation as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Project Management
• Offshore and Onshore Supervisory & Leadership skills
• Proven Project Management experience on large scale project with defined deliverables
• Excellent Oral and Written English skills
• Necessary Computer skills
