CEG Buyer

CEG Buyer completes the subcontractors’ selection starting from searching and registering the subcontractors, fulfilling the bidding process evaluating the technical and economical proposals, negotiating and signing the corresponding procurement contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review subcontractor documents.
• Prepare the strategy for contracting the services.
• Evaluate the subcontractors’ performance, portfolio and business relation with suppliers.
• Analyze the market prices and the efficiency of delivery of the service to assure that the service is contracted with a competitive price.
• Collect and analyze the market offering information for a service.
• Develop and define strategic suppliers and suggest them to the different projects.
• Work together with the Project Team and with the Quality Team in the supplier’s registering process.
• Release on time the request of quotes to the suppliers and ensure that all the documents are proper and precise.
• Assure that the purchase process complies with the contracting policy, procedure and the delivery schedule of the project.
• Keep all the registering documents completed and updated and the information related with the procurement process such as negotiation meeting minutes, reports, bidding documents, etc.
• Evaluate and analyze the performance of the supplier based on the price negotiation process, payment terms, delivery time and other commercial terms with the supplier.
• Ensure cost efficiency & lead-time for sourcing part.

Requirements:

• Higher education (minimum bachelor degree)
• Advanced language skills in written and spoken English, Russian and Azeri
• Minimum 3 years work experience as CEG Buyer or procurement specialist
