Wireless Engineer

Huawei Azerbaijan seeks a Wireless Engineer to join some of the best engineers in developing and deploying today's most advanced network technologies for our customers. It is an exciting opportunity/chance to work in one of the world's largest companies in IT sector.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing 802.11 infrastructure
• Engineer solutions to integrate wireless LAN coverage into new facilities
• Work with outside vendors to have wireless site surveys performed and required equipment installed
• Work with security on identifying and removing rogue AP's on the network
• Troubleshoot switching issues such as VLANs, VTP, and spanning tree issues
• Convert existing LANs from flat layer-2 networks to layer-3 multi-switched networks

Requirements:

• Experience completing indoor/outdoor wireless surveys, implementations and support
• Understanding of wireless network design utilizing the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standards
• Higher education (minimum bachelor degree)
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Minimum one year work experience as Wireless Engineer
