Job title: Transport, Plant and Equipment Manager

Responsibilities:

• External and internal preventative and corrective maintenance of depot plant and equipment within train maintenance depots.
• The safety and performance of external maintenance contractors.
• Delivering short/medium-term and whole life asset planning.
• The provision of new plant and equipment which meet all of the user requirements and safety legislation.
• Ensuring that all statutory requirements are complied with, with regards to depot, plant and equipment.
• To ensure that the projects are properly funded and controlled to meet required performance, safety and business standards.
• Provide management information required by the Plant and Manager and other appropriate authorities to ensure that the progress and completion of project

Requirements:

• Azerbaijani national
• Machine building, mechanical or relevant technical education
• Strong management skills, ability to learn
• At least 10 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of local legislation (traffic rules, registry of equipment and operator competency)
• English intermediate or higher, MS office programs
• Knowledge and experience of working with heavy and light equipment, transportation means, construction plant
• Ability to develop and supervise the implementation of transportation, maintenance procedures
• Develop risk assesments, transportation plans
• Manage a team of coordinators, dispatchers, operators and drivers
• Knowledge of vehicle data recorders
• Knowledge of inspection of vehicles, plant and equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance process for plant, equipment and vehicles
• Knowledge of offroad and winter driving techniques
• Good communication skills
• Travel required to regions and out-of country
• Reports to Project Management
• Works in close coordination with Client and in strict compliance with Project standards and specificationsProject duration 3 years
