Caspian Drilling Company Ltd has an immediate vacancy for the following position in its Istiglal Upgrade Project. Compensation, benefits and the opportunity for career development are as would be expected from an international drilling services provider.

JOB TITLE:   Project Engineer

EMPLOYER:  Caspian Drilling Company Ltd.

DUTY STATION:  Azerbaijan

DEADLINE:  14.11.2014

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Provides input to proposals with regard to project(s) execution, commissioning and coordination.
• Provides "first line" contact with client(s) and coordinates client(s) project requirements
• Coordinates all activities related to the commissioning and interfacing of new OFE/BFE equipment.
• Ensures that all contractual requirements and commissioning schedules of the project are communicated to and understood by all relevant departments and third parties
• Ensures that all activities relating to the project(s) are planned and that plans are understood.
• Ensure required materials and equipment required for commissioning are scheduled and purchased or rented.
• Monitors delivery schedules of project materials and ensure potential slippages are managed.
• Monitors all elements of work execution and productivity to maximize project efficiencies to achieving required man - hour and procurement budgets.
• Ensure that all additional works requested by clients are within the scope of the original contract.
• Develops proactive monitoring and reporting systems and routines to ensure "early warning" of potential   project problems
• Prepares and presents project commissioning plans and schedules and monitors progress and close out reports for senior management.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIECE:

• A degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
• Experience in writing commissioning programs and procedures.
• 10+ years in a maintenance management positions.
• Experience of dealing with drilling and Upgrade projects.
• Effective communicator and team player.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

LANGUAGES:

English, Azerbaijani, Russian
