Duties & Responsibilities

To be trained in vibration activities associated to the designated asset(s) and co-ordinate and administrate all associated activities.
Under supervision :- review
qualitative assessments of all pipe work systems.
quantitative assessments from the VE for Main Lines.
quantitative assessments from the VE for Small Bore Connections (SBC)
quantitative assessments from the VE concerning the  assessment for  thermowells
visual assessments of piping that require further assessment.
Assist in preparation of vibration survey work packs in accordance with client policy and procedure.
Assist in keeping  all vibration anomalies tracked and ensure the appropriate remedial action is identified and implemented
Assisting the VE when on site

General

The list of duties is not exclusive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position.
Assist with any other duties as and when required
Undertake specific projects as instructed by Senior Engineers and/or Management

Safety

Attend Company Learning/Business Management System (LMS/BMS) or client safety meetings as requested
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment

Qualifications
 
E – Essential
P – Preferred
EX-Expected

Recognized Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship and associated qualifications or Vocational Certification/ONC/HNC or equivalent in relevant subjects (E).
Achieve Vibration Analysis 1 (VA1) course within six (6) months and complete the exam for VA1 and VA2 within eighteen (18) months (EX). Training to be provided by the Company (as required)
Attend various courses including basic Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) techniques)
Attend various courses to enable greater use of company administrative software packages, i.e. MS Office, ACET etc (EX)
Attend Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) and all site inductions required for access to all the clients assets (EX)

EXPERIENCE (WORK):

P – Preferred
Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator, both written and verbal (E)

EXPERIENCE (SOFTWARE):

Microsoft Office (E)
Maintenance Management or equivalent (P). If no previous experience, training must be completed in a timely manner.
