Key Responsibilities

• Assist parts department staff to provide the highest level of service to counter, wholesale and service department customers
• Develop and maintain effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain all parts efficiency and management reports and reporting methods
• Provide the direction and leadership required to achieve professional parts sales and parts processes at profitability and customer service/customer satisfaction standards
• Continually monitor the progress of the department and individuals in parts group toward the customer satisfaction, market penetration and profit goals
• Maintain an accurate inventory, internal controls to prevent shortages and obsolescence, perpetual inventory checks and annual counts per management guidelines
• Submits all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
• Develop pricing matrixes based on cost analysis, economic ordering criteria and phase in phase out to maximize profit without sacrificing sales
• Create an approved vendor list optimizing the best purchase discounts and return programs
• Perform other duties assigned by his supervisor

Required Competencies

• Preferred degree in mechanical OR electrical field
• Minimum of  5 (five) years experience related to parts operation, preferably from construction equipment dealership or in aftermarket parts industry
• Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use in the dealership
• Good understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
• Good  understanding of pricing principles including retail pricing categorization
• A good working knowledge of parts sales techniques and methodologies
• Deep knowledge of spare parts in Construction machineries including component life cycle and parts order analysis
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, in Azeri & English
• Required knowledge and skills to optimize stock parts inventory
• Solid inventory management knowledge
• Product knowledge including features and benefits knowledge of all commodities sold
