Position title:  HSE Trainer

Location: Garadagh r., Salyan highway 83,

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, deliver, and administer all HSE training courses in consistency with training matrix and employee’s individual development plan;
• Plan, develop and execute Core and other HSE related trainings for all operations;
• Ensure the training content meets company and client requirements, legislation, and industry best practice;
• Ensure that training material is readily available for all training events;
• Continuously evaluate and update training materials for existing courses and manage the development of new material when necessary, including cooperation with QHSSE department & Construction dpt and other trainers;
• Develop & communicate HSE related learning campaigns to all staff through presentations to ensure HSE culture is disseminated to all employees of the company;
• Develop various presentations on HSE subjects and prepare HSE Newsletter / HSE Site News to continuously foster a safe working culture in the company;
• Prepare HSE training reports on program & progress when required;
• Attend internal HSE meetings if required;
• Apply best practices related to HSE learning for implementation and ongoing improvement;
• Submit regular reports to Training Lead on the status of the HSE training program
• Prepare, distribute and focus on learning campaigns;
• Actively participate in any annual technical appraisal, attestation or assessment activities for workforce. Check the necessary level of competence has been reached;
• Liaise with other on-job training staff to ensure full compatibility of on-job & off-job training, meet with them regularly, & visit locations where employees are receiving on-job training;
• Promote safety culture through constant safety talks;
• Any other related activities as advised by the Training Lead
   
Work experience:

• 3-5 year experience in HSE related activities and training within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline appropriate to the oil/gas industry
• NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent in Occupation Health and Safety
• Recognized train-the-trainer certificates in occupational training

Knowledge:

• Ability to plan outcomes-based training events; write effective training materials using multimedia; deliver & effective training & assessment of learning.
• Has had formal training as an instructor.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational & presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of computers, MS Office
