AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Field Team Leader-Offshore (National)

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities are understood and adhered to
• Manage all daily work of construction personnel and schedules
• Manage & assist with planning of offshore projects and Adhoc works including manpower and material requirements.
• Assist with information/query’s requested by onshore engineers
• Liaise with Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and other offshore department supervisors on a daily basis for planning of projects and Adhoc works
• Implementation of Adhoc Procedure
• Comment on and co-ordinate input of offshore comments to construction workpacks.
• Manage the implementation of offshore construction performance measures and milestone targets.
• Prepare daily progress & POB Reports
• Carry out site safety inspections
• Ensure Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and toolbox talks are completed and implemented
• Ensure self audits are carried out on quality control, materials management, as-built P&ID’s and other construction related activities
• Notify Logistics of Platform POB for all AMEC and AMEC sub-contract personnel
• Ensure offshore construction activities are implemented in accordance Project Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System and procedures and Safety Management System.
• Ensure all offshore evaluations and assessments are carried out and results reported to CDCA Coordinator.
• Support Nationalisation Programme and development of local personnel
• Mentor national technicians in trade and specialist skills.
• Participate and contribute to project constructability reviews and offshore surveys
• Maintain strong communications links with onshore coordinators
• Ensure all relevant offshore G.O.C. is completed in a timely manner

Core competences:

• Displays positive safety attitude.
• To have a good understanding of construction design, combined with an ability to fit design to deliverable.
• Must understand inter-discipline relationships.
• Computer literate.
