Venue Telecoms Deployment Engineer
Responsibilities
• Deployment of telecommunication infrastructure at Venues including network passive and active equipment.
• Supervise the team of technicians with direct participation in all physical installation of the network HW at venues.
• Configuration of the deployed HW according to design provided by Engineer.
• Implement the connectivity (copper, FO) between all the HW components according to design.
• Execute proper labeling of all installed HW elements.
• Provides the redline sketch, based on which the as-built drawing will be created.
• Reporting to line manager the network deployment status in writing.
• Communicating about issues during the deployment and solving them locally with the customer at site with escalation to the line manager if needed.
• Working with the design documentation in order to provide the redline sketch, based on which the as-built drawing will be created by design team.
Skills
o Technical/IT University background.
o Good network HW deployment skills including all SCS elements. At least 3 years of experience in network deployment.
o Knowledge of cabling standards in SCS.
o Knowledge of copper cable standards.
o Knowledge of FO cable standards.
o Ability to work with multivendor SCS equipment.
o Knowledge in overall network architecture in an enterprise environment
o Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices and the SCS.
o Good troubleshooting skills.
o Strong LAN troubleshooting knowledge.
o General WAN troubleshooting knowledge.
o Strong leadership skills. At least 1 year of supervisor experience.
o Must be a team player and work well with co-workers of different backgrounds
o Strong communication skills in order to prevent any conflict situation with 3rd party contractors, customers, landlords in day to day activities.
o Fluent in Azerbaijani, Good English. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage
o CCNA certified, additional certifications is a plus.
