Job Title:  Maintenance Superintendent (Electrical)

Location: Azerbaijan

A vacancy has arisen for a Rotational/Residential (Rotational till the end of the year, residential effective from 2015 )Maintenance Superintendent position as part of the onshore Business Unit.
The Maintenance Superintendent will report to the Maintenance Team Leader. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the asset is maintained in line with the company standards.  He supports the Rig Manager(s) and maintenance personnel to ensure all routines and inspections are completed.  He ensures all changes to the asset or Rig are controlled and the associated records are updated.

Skills and Experience:

• To maintain a preventative maintenance programme in accordance with Company policy.
• To ensure that modifications and or changes to the Asset are recorded in line with Client and company standards.
• To ensure maintenance routines are requested to be updated and modified where necessary.
• To ensure all maintenance activities are planned and scheduled with the operations management to ensure timely completion.
• To ensure all maintenance related failures are investigated in line with Client and company standards.
• To ensure rig spares are systematically reviewed and stocks critically managed.
• To ensure any purchase order for specialists are raised prior to the visit and commercially managed.
• To conduct offshore visits and complete audits as necessary.
• To provide specialist technical support to the Asset as required.
• To ensure any third party contractors utilised for overhauls adhere to set standards and the terms of purchase orders.
• Identify any rig improvement and ensure Engineering queries and eMOC’s are raised to capture  
• To ensure all maintenance staff under their area of responsibility are trained and competent for their position.
• To participate in the regional on call rota as required.
• To provide high level support to offshore team. 
• To liaise closely with client at an elevated level of management; 
• To participate in multi country conference calls; Vendor discussions throughout the world; Close interrelations with engineering companies.

Requirements :

• Fully recognized apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Excellent Oral and Written English skills
• Necessary Computer skills
