Financial Accountability:
• Supervision of Outlet Managers
• Involvement in Service and Guest Contact
• Assists in the co-ordination of organizational and administrative functions in all areas of the Food & Beverage Department
• Assists in planning and implementing programs, policies and procedures to ensure that service standards are met
• Budgeting and Cost Control
• Directly responsible for the Beverage cost of the hotel
• Directly responsible for presenting and being accountable for the monthly profit & loss of the Food & beverage division
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure proper menu engineering and that food costs are in line with budget expectations
Conditions of Work:
Normal administrative office and hotel working conditions including outdoor locations.
Role Overview
Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and direct operations to ensure the Food & Beverage department achieves its goals and effectively contributes to the guest experience whilst maintaining Jumeirah Brand standards.

Main Duties:
1. Oversees the organizational and administrative functions in all areas of the Food & Beverage Department to ensure delivery of the strategy and compliance with Jumeirah standards
2. Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan to ensure Food & Beverage operation is adequately represented.
3. Lead the creation of flexible solutions to attract new and potential customers
4. Ensure the team are motivated, recognised and fully accountable for their areas of responsibility
5. Manage special Food and Beverage projects
6. Interacts with management of other department within areas of responsibility and develops solid working relationships with them
7. To assist in Training and development of Outlet Managers so that they are able to operate independently with their own profit centre.
8. Carries out an efficient leadership style using appraisals and performance management as main tools.
9. Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.
10. Assists in the development of ideas and the increased department sales of Food and Beverage to improve productivity.
11. To assist identifying market changes which will improve business levels from hotel guests and the local market.
12. Lead the service team for any high profile VIP social events and VIP government events & guests.

• Minimum of 3 years senior management experience in a large Food & Beverage division in a luxury hotel, resort or equivalent
