Financial Accountability:

• To be aware of the financial position of the hotel
• To be aware of cost savings that can be made and implement as instructed
• To be aware of the department’s performance relating to CSI and Quality

Conditions of Work: As per local labour law 40 hours per week  (Refer individual contract)

Role Overview 

Purpose: 

• To provide professional individual and group fitness classes, assistance to guests in the areas of proper exercise technique, workout efficiency, safe weight training and Fitness motivation

Main Duties:

• To conduct individual and group fitness sessions, choose appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants’ capabilities and limitations
• To assist in organising and conducting workshops and events
• Provide pre and post fitness assessments
• Instruct participants in maintaining exertion levels in order to maximize benefits from exercise
• Evaluate individual’s abilities, needs and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements.
• Offer alternatives during fitness sessions to accommodate different levels of fitness
• Observe participants and inform them to corrective measures necessary for skill improvement
• Monitor participants’ progress and adapt programs as needed.
• Provide guest with information and resources regarding nutrition, weight control and lifestyle issues
• Minimum of 2 years as a Fitness Consultant or similar environment, minimum of 5 years of previous work experience with solid track records and strong references.

Qualifications / Experience 

Desirable:

• Previous work experience in integrative wellness environment in well-renowned institutions, previous work experience in overseas and multi-cultural environment. Dealings with high profile guests.
• Knowledge of Azeri,  Russian or other languages

Essential:

• Excellent interpersonal skills,
• Anticipate guest’s needs and respond with congenial hospitality
• Highly organized, ability to multi-task and work well within a team.
