Key Accountabilities:

• Support PMC Asset Groups for strategy development cycles, monitor and track the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to initiative parameters.
• Evaluate and review business performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
• Support in the assessment of strategic investment initiatives across PMC Asset Groups, monitor and review investment performance. 
• Consolidate and prepare reports on strategic initiatives and business performance for executive leadership and board-level discussions.
• Assist in establishing investment and strategy governance frameworks, policies, standards and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Work closely with Asset Groups and Corporate functions to ensure consistency in strategic execution and compliance with organizational priorities.

Required background:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, Investments, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees, such as a master’s or MBA, are an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate and business strategy, management consulting, investment or similar roles in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of business performance metrics, strategic alignment principles, and project management.
• Proven ability to work with financial information and management reports, track record in business evaluation and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with regional and international investment landscapes. Knowledge of industry-specific dynamics and challenges in sectors like real estate, retail, and agriculture is a plus.

Required skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis, performance tracking, and report preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to align diverse stakeholders. 
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic frameworks/tools
• Competence in evaluating investment initiatives
• Strategic mindset and thinking with the ability to balance key priorities
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in both English and Azerbaijani (written and spoken).
