Position: Health and Industrial Hygiene Advisor

Main Role and Purpose:

Maintain the effectiveness and continued development of Company's Project Health Management System and provide required direction and support to its application at Project worksites

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development and administration of occupational health surveillance programs
• Administration of employee medical reports, screening reports and fitness to work status.
• Ensuring proper reporting and recording of infectious diseases.
• Provision of Health Impact Assessment to communities
• Designing, development and delivering of health promotion initiatives.
• Implementation of Return to Work policy, procedure and strategy
• Provision of occupational health medical assessment/consultation and medical referrals.
• Performance of periodic health, hygiene and facility audits for site facilities, including kitchen & accommodations.
• Provision of leadership for first aid provision and program
• Administration of programs designed to reduce work related hazards & risks i.e. hearing protection, respiratory protection, ergonomics, travel health and immunizations
• Designing and provision of briefing/training as necessary on matters relating to occupational health.
• Management of onsite medical facilities, team of doctors and nurses
• Provision of an occupational health fitness program for employees
 
Competencies required:

• High Medical Education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Occupational Health (and Industrial Hygiene) Advisor/Doctor role
• Strong communication and team work skills
• Strong technical and analytical skills regarding Medical Case Management
• Work experience in multinational organization
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages
