IFRS Reporting Specialist

OJSC VTB Bank Azerbaijan is seeking an individual with professional attitude for the position of an IFRS Reporting Specialist, who will be responsible for preparation of IFRS financial statements and IFRS reporting, liaising with external auditors and supporting the reporting team in other reporting matters.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
- Liaison, processing of queries, collection and provision of information to external auditors;
- Calculation of adjustments and preparation of transformation file with required comments;
- Assist the Reporting Team in closing all audit matters on time;
- Provide support in preparation of IFRS and management reports in accordance with internal bank formats.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics;
- 2+ years of experience in audit (preferably in Big4 with exposure to bank industry);
- Understanding and knowledge of IFRS is essential;
- ACCA/CIMA/CFA part-qualified/students preferred;
- Fluent in Russian, Azerbaijan and English;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
