JOB TITLE: Civil Inspection Engineer
DEPARTMENT: Asset Integrity
LOCATION: Baku Azerbaijan
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Conducting Civil Inspections within AGT Midstream Facilities
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for inspection all concrete structures, steel structures, buildings, drainage systems, pipe racks, tower, roads and yards, security fence and lighting foundations, stairways, handrails, and platforms, tank bunds and dikes, to determine the present condition of the structure and the extend of deterioration.
Inspections will occur at the multiple locations across AGT region, primarily in Midstream facilities and will be certified in accordance with Oceaneering and Client codes of practice, strategies and legislation ensuring feedback of the results to client Asset Group.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform inspections of assigned civil structural items within AGT region. Inspections are primarily visual inspection in approach.
Responsible for conducting pre-inspection desk top study of provided inspection work packs to understand civil structural system design and features.
Produce detailed inspection reports documenting any inspection findings. Follow Oceaneering and client procedures and formats in development of the inspection reports.
Report to and coordinate with Civil SIE on ongoing and outstanding civil structures inspection items. Liaise with Civil SIE on technical questions.
Comply with all HSE regulations and complete all necessary HSE paperwork as necessary to complete inspection activities. Raise permits as necessary to complete inspection work.
Coordinate day to day inspection activities with all concerned personnel for planning, technical, support and any material requirements necessary to undertake the inspection activities.
Ensure that all records, files and database are uploaded with all inspection work sheets, findings and status of repair.

Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
• Civil Engineering degree (or civil sub-discipline: Structural Eng, Construction Eng and Environmental Eng). From ABET or equivalently accredited( ECUK, ECSA, etc)
• Preference to candidates with building /facilities experience and / or Oil & Gas experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend drawings, codes, and specifications.
• The Inspection Engineer must have working knowledge of International codes and standards such as IBC, UBC, BS, ACI, ASTM, AISC and AASHTO.
EXPERIENCE:
WORK: 5+ Year of work experience in engineering, construction, quality control or operations and maintenance.
Preference to candidates with building /facilities experience
Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator
EQUIPMENT: Computer literate (E)
SOFTWARE: Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (E)
Auto Cad (P).
