Position:  Finance Director

Reports to:  General Director

Duration:  Permanent, following 3 months of probation

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the higher level management of the financial domain of the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Directly oversees Finance Managers in the affiliated entities;
• Manages financial resources and conducts resource planning for future needs;
• Participates in the strategic planning;
• Performs financial analysis pertaining to the strategies of the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Prepares P&L considering historical financial information of the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Monitors the preparation of financial budgets in the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Supervises business performance for the past fiscal year as well as current ones and takes steps to improve the performance for the upcoming one;
• Designs the Company financial policies, rules and regulations and ensure that all affiliated companies adhere to them;
• Monitor accounts control;
• Develops financial models required by the industry, the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Ensures affiliated entities comply with all local regulations;
• Reviews and approves based on consent from the General Director the Financial Plans of affiliated entities;
• Conducts quarterly financial audits of affiliated entities;
• Participates in strategic planning and policy-making for the Company and its affiliated entities;
• Reviews and approves based on consent from General Director the Operational Budgets of the affiliated entities;
• Reviews and approves the Financial Reports of affiliated entities on monthly basis;
• Reviews and approves based on consent from General Director the Procurement Plans of affiliated entities on monthly and annual basis;
• Prepare consolidated financial reports to General Director and Shareholders.

Qualifications sought:

• Educational background: Finance, Accounting, Business, or Management;
• Certification: ACCA, CIMA or CFA;
• Experience: 5 years of experience and successful track record in senior finance role, experience with international companies, accountancy experience, IFRS and tax experience;
• Languages: fluent Azerbaijani, English, and/or Russian.
