Project on enhancement of the knowledge on EU matters in Azerbaijan for better association with EU

ADA university is looking for participants of the Training of Trainers program which will be held in Baku in May-June 2014. Details are reflected below:

Trainer Profile

Title: Trainer for trainings to be delivered for civil servants in EU related areas

Duty station: Baku, Azerbaijan

The potential trainers will be trained within Training of Trainers (ToT) program to be able to deliver trainings in a specific EU related sectoral field. Later on, the best participants will be selected and certified for training delivery to Azerbaijani civil servants in EU related matters, including but not limiting by:

- general/basic EU related training module
- EU Policies and implementing instruments & PCM training module,
- etc.

Qualifications: Min. 3 years of related professional experience

General experience(s): Experience in providing trainings and/or educational activities. This might include teaching/coaching in educational institutions, participation in development of training/educational curricula; involvement in EU matter related activities

Areas of expertise: EU law, EU project cycle management, EU financial and accounting systems, EU acquis and others

Specific experience(s): Theoretical and practical background and good understanding of approaches, tools and methodologies related to planning, executing and monitoring trainings;

• Technical reporting;
• Computer literacy;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• knowing modern training methods, good communication, presentation etc skills
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani language. Knowledge of Russian language is an asset.

Selected participants will be asked to present specific cases or projects wherethey taught and describe specifically what did they teach. They will be also requested to provide with information about reference persons from similar assignments (phone and e-mail).

ToT will cover such modules as introduction, adult learning, facilitation skills, training techniques, using training aids, planning of training, presentation skills, micro-training, preparing a training course, evaluation of training.
Participation in the ToT is free. However, those participants who will be certified and selected for further training delivery for civil servants will be remunerated for their activities.
