Job Title: Trainee Tooling Technician
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

RESPONSIBLE FOR: N/A
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To Build, Repair, Maintain and Operate the full range of DTS ROV & Intervention Tooling
In support of Oceaneering and 3’rd party Clients World wide.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Undertake and successfully complete the required number of Tooling Training Modules to move to Tooling Technician.
• Undertake Base duties and SIT work as part of a team under the supervision of an experienced Tooling Technician.
• Travel offshore and to remote locations for tooling set up and integration.
• Work with Oceaneering and Client ROV and Engineering teams to support and operate DTS Tooling.
• Build and commission new Tooling systems as required by the DTS Chief Engineer and Workshop Manager.
• Maintain and Service ancillary equipment and Tools to ensure safe and reliable performance in use.
• Perform all assigned tasks with due diligence with respect to safety and quality, and in line with Oceaneering’s Operating Standards.
• Maintain a high standard of work place cleanliness and overall good “Housekeeping”
• Produce the required paper or electronic documentation in support of all assigned work tasks.
General
Assist with any other duties as and when required.
Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
E – Essential; P - Preferred
Apprenticeship in an Engineering based Trade. E
City and Guilds Qualification or Equivalent. P
Basic First Aid. P
EXPERIENCE
E – Essential; P - Preferred
WORK
Engineering Apprenticeship - E
Minimum 5 years practical experience in a relevant field - P
3 years ROV offshore experience - P
Supervisory experience - P
Working knowledge of HSE practices and policies with regard to Workshop activities
EQUIPMENT
Familiarity with offshore subsea production equipment in general, and with as many items as possible from the following list: P
Remotely operated vehicles and related tooling
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Lifting and handling systems
Electrical power and electronic control systems
Light fabrication equipment and methods
SOFTWARE
Basic knowledge of Oceaneering desktop software including -
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. P
