Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Increase occupancy, average rate, and school profitability.
  • Develop and acquire new accounts to boost business/occupancy.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and work to meet sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.
  • Represent the school at trade shows, corporate functions, and promotions.
  • Implement and monitor sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Identify, report, and respond to market needs and trends.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor’s sales promotion and activities for the department, market intelligence.
  • Implement an effective sales plan and promotional activities for the department.
  • Conduct Performance Development Discussions and support the professional development goals of departmental associates.
  • Assist in the training of associates ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner. 
  • Ensure that the Department’s operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled, and expenditure approved.
  • Comply with local legislation be conversant and act on any such matters relating to your department.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree – preference given to Sales or business-related degrees
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • 3 years minimum prior experience in Sales, ideally in the school environment.
  • Experienced and comfortable communicating with potential clients.
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages 
  • Knowledge in market
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills; 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • General computer knowledge including the use the Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with constant interruptions;
  • Is on time, punctual to meetings, knows how to manage a schedule, and is organized.
  • Flexibility to work longer hours occasionally if needed.
