Role synopsis 

As part of the Executive team, the Executive Office Analyst will provide overall support to the RP and the Executive Office with the Management Information and other data that may be required from time to time in coordination with the Finance team. The role holder will also coordinate external requests and consolidate (bi)weekly and monthly project reports and data. The role requires good experience with operating and processing Management Information data, in-depth understanding of BP’s Finance and Planning processes and analytical and economic evaluations skills.

Key accountabilities 

• Overall support to the RP office with the Management Information and other data that may be required from time to time in coordination with the Finance team

• Support to C&EA Team with various tasks:

• Quarterly performance data provision for the press releases

• Various financial (Cost, Production, Revenue etc.) data on BP’s operations in the country

• Timely update of VIP high level presentation pack on BP’s key operations in the Region

• Coordination of all required analyses and financial data inputs for requests for external reporting

• Support Head of Executive Office with coordinating various ad-hoc requests: • Requests on total cost, total investment, total revenue from one or all of the PSAs/HGAs that BP operates in the Region

• Requests on preparing presentation based on various requests from center and region

• Various top down cash flow analysis

• Support for the process of management of My Plan and AOP for Regional President

• Support to the Executive Office with organization of the Regional Leadership Team meetings

• Provide assistance on any other ad-hoc requests of the Executive Office

Essential Education 

- University Degree in Finance or related discipline

Essential experience and job requirements 

-Minimum one year of experience with operating and processing Management Information data or in similar field

• Understanding of oil & gas operations essential

• In-depth understanding of BP’s Finance and Planning processes

• Demonstrated analytical and economic evaluations skills

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships in resolving issues

• Proven communication skills with stakeholders

Desirable criteria & qualifications 

• MBA Degree

• Experience in PPM teams

• CIMA or other accounting qualification is a plus

• Ability to present ideas and represent them powerfully
